Meet the Team

Keith Sykes is a single dad with two beautiful girls.  He has been a flooring installer for a few years before becoming a sales representative for Floors Direct.

Ivis Fernandez is a Flooring Consultant at FLOORS Direct. She has 2 ½ years of experience in the flooring field helping customers, both English and Spanish speaking, find the right floor that can fill their expectations.
She has excellent knowledge of products, colors trends, and new styles. That, combined with creativity and patience, separates Ivis from the rest.
Motivated and with great taste, these characteristics will make shopping for your new flooring not only easier but enjoyable.

Resident of Central Florida for 31 years.

Celeste is married to Jeff,  for 8 years and is the mother to two sons. Celeste handles the operations and management of the corporation. She coordinates everything from inventory to accounts payable, from an inside operational function; and then oversees the Installation department and crews; as well as: Customer Service levels. Her team of operational employees focus daily to better service our customers. Celeste has chosen this career path and strives to achieve an extraordinary experience level for every customer that graces any of our 9 Central Florida Locations.

Resident of Central Florida for 42 years.

Fred Leksell - Warehouse South. Over 20 years in distribution and warehousing with 5 years in flooring sales. Will assist in any and all customer service needs. Family man with a wife and 5 children.

Jeff is 30 years old and the son, of Michael A Carr, who is the founder of Floors Direct. Jeff, along with his wife, Celeste and Brother David, is a proud second generation owner. He works tirelessly to ensure the best values on every product and top quality installation. He is the companies main buyer and trainer. He is married to his wife Celeste for 6 plus years and is the father of two sons. Jeff is an active member of the Florida Flooring Alliance – Buying Group of over 15 other top leading flooring retailers over the south east region of the US. He has been employed by Floors Direct since he was 16 years old and loves this company, his customers, and his staff; and strives to achieve greatness every single day.

Carol has been with Floors Direct since February of 2003.  She started as an Office Manager Assistant and have moved up to Corporate Administration working directly with VP of Operations and VP of Sales. Carol's  experience with Floors Direct ranges from operations to managing a retail sales location.

General Manager of 2 Sebring Locations

I started working for Floors Direct in May of 2005. I was hired as store manager of the Casselberry  Floors Direct. I oversaw the daily operations of the store and would also assist customers on the sales floor. Approx. June 2007, I became the Installation/Claims Manager for the 5 stores in the Orlando area. Currently, I coordinate installations, claims, and purchasing.  Married and have a degree in Retail Management.

I have been a Floors Direct employee for over 10 years. Before becoming a Floors Direct employee I sold and installed carpeting for over 20 years and was a general contractor. I now work with our sales and warehouse team to help provide our great customer service.

David has been employeed with Floors Direct since January 2002.  He has been a top performer and is known for his extensive level of floor covering knowledge.  David is Single and resides in Clermont

Tina has been a top sales person at Floors Direct for over 5 years. She's a master Flooring Consultant and the Merchandising Assistant Manager. She's goes above and beyond to make sure her clients get the best customer service and is always ready with a smile! She currently resides in Orlando and works out of our East location. She has three children and one grandson.

Steve has been with Floors Direct eight years, Employee of the Year 2006. He has extensive Shaw and Armstrong training. Articulate and motivated—Steve’s photography background allows him a creative platform to draw from that not only brings a unique perspective, but an artistic like vision, benefiting residential and commercial clients with the task of choosing their own picture perfect floor.

Kevin Brooks, Married 25 years to high school sweetheart, 5 children and 3 grandchildren. Hobbies include fishing, golfing and woodworking.

I have been in the retail side of the flooring industry for 25 years. I started in the Warehouse at age 17, also did measuring in the evening while i was working in the warehouse. I went into retail sales at age 21 and then moved into both retail and commercial sales at age 23. I worked with a carpet installer on my days off to learn the trade and installed carpet for 2 yrs. I went back to full time sales and became assistant manager for 1 year and went on to become store manager for 15 years. For the past 2 years i have been in retail sales full time.

Happily married and  blessed with two beautiful children. Chad has been a Flooring Consultant at Floors Direct  for 5 years. Resident of Central Florida for 15 years.

Hans is a versed salesman and is an expert on product knowledge.  He is someone who takes the time to get to know a customer and their individual needs.  He is also a dynamic flooring consultant who works extensively with builders in our market.  Hans has been employeed with Floors Direct for 6 years and is married with children and grandchildren.

CT has been employeed for 7+ years and has been in the flooring industry for 15+ years.  He is a true craftsman and a perfectionist at everything he does.  The knowledge of installation techniques and warehouse protocal is exceptional.  He is known throughout the company as being a meticulous employee  Warehouse / Employee of the Year 2010.  He resides in Orlando.

Jack has been with Floors Direct about 4 years,He was manager of Carpet Brokers before coming aboard.Jack started installing tile flooring at the age of 14, Then installing carpet back when you hand sewed the seams.Thur the years He lean to install Vinyl, V.C.T., Wood,and Laminate.He has owned his own Carpet Cleaning and Install Businesses, His background helps place his customers in the right produce for there needs.

Johnny is a trained and true to his level of expertise.  He is been with Floors Direct for 5+ years.  He works at the South Orange Blossom Location and is bilingual.  Johnny is married with 2 children and a proud military father!
